Yes. Pre-painted steel can be pressed, folded, roll-formed and fabricated without painting the completed component. The material grade, coating flexibility, bend radius, tooling condition and protective-film requirements must be appropriate for the forming process. Clean, well-maintained tooling helps prevent scratches and damage to the finished surface.

Selected pre-painted products can be supplied with a removable protective film to reduce the risk of scratches during cutting, forming, handling and transport. The film should normally be removed within the manufacturer’s recommended period, particularly before prolonged outdoor exposure. Please specify any protective-film requirements when ordering.
